HISTORY

Founded in September 2015, South 49 Construction Inc. was established in South Carolina to bring the proven successes and capabilities of W. B. Melback Inc. to the United States. As the U.S.-based arm of the long-established Canadian construction group, South 49 was formed to extend WB Melback’s reputation for quality workmanship, technical expertise, and reliable project execution into key American markets.

 

From day one, the vision was clear: build a company rooted in the same values and strengths that define WB Melback, while tailoring services to meet the unique needs, regulations, and scale of industrial operations across the United States.
